Barcelona: the cosmopolitan city

The Montseny Natural Park
The Montseny Natural Park is the highest massif of the Catalan coastal mountain range. It is 30,120 ha wide and is distributed among 18 municipalities that are located in Vallès Oriental, la Selva and Osona. The name of this park derives from the Latin Montum Signum (mountain landmark), probably referring to its shape, which is visible and recognizable from many parts of Catalonia.
The Catalan Racing Circuit
The Catalan Racing Circuit, which was opened in Montmeló in 1991, has become one of the world’s most modern motor racing facilities and is one of the meeting points for F1 and motorbike racing. It meets all the requirements for hosting the major racing competitions, such as the Marlboro Spanish F1 Grand Prix and the Catalan Motorbike GP, which both form part of the World Championship calendar.
